Our Services
Compassionate. Evidence-Based. Future-Focused.
At The O’Connell Group Behavioral Consulting, we partner with families, schools, and communities to support the social, emotional, and behavioral growth of children, teens, and young adults, especially those navigating developmental or transitional challenges. We recognize that every individual is unique, and so are the systems that surround them. That’s why we take a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to behavior support.
Whether your child is just beginning to show signs of difficulty, has a formal diagnosis, or is preparing for the transition into adulthood, our goal is to create meaningful change that fosters independence, connection, and confidence. We specialize in supporting neurodivergent learners, including those on the autism spectrum, ADHD, Down syndrome, or other developmental disabilities, and provide tailored services to meet their individual strengths, needs, and goals.
Our work goes beyond behavior…it’s about empowering families, building capacity within schools, and creating environments where children and young adults can thrive.

Here’s what makes us different:

You’re the expert on your child. We listen first, build trust, and work alongside you every step of the way. We honor your values, your routines, and your vision for your child’s future.

Our expertise extends beyond early intervention. We specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults (ages 12–22+) as they develop critical life skills, executive functioning, and independence for what comes next.
Collaborative School Partnerships
We don’t just hand over a behavior plan and walk away. We work closely with schools to ensure strategies are practical, individualized, and implemented with confidence.
Compassionate, Strengths-Based Care
We look beyond the behavior. We focus on understanding the “why,” building meaningful skills, and promoting dignity, communication, and self-advocacy.
